Our Transportation Department has a full-time opening for an experienced professional to manage our roadway design services. This position will be located at our office in Raleigh, NC.

This positions responsibilities include supervising, managing, and mentoring staff; project management for roadway design projects; leading business development opportunities in the south east; assisting with forecasting, budgeting and productivity tracking. Travel will be required.

The successful candidate must have any of the following:

• A bachelors degree in civil engineering and three years of relevant expereince
• An associate degree in civil engineering and five years of relevant experience
• No degree with seven years of relevant experience

The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following:

• Coordinating tasks for roadway design project development as a design lead
• Roadway design project management
• Leading NCDOT projects
• Budgeting and forecasting project needs
