Meadow Creek Post Acute (formerly, Affinity Healthcare Center) is seeking a friendly and organized Business Office Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our business office. Your excellent communication skills and attention to detail will be key as you assist with various tasks such as managing patient records, processing billing information, and coordinating appointments.

• Pay Range: $30.00 - $40.00/Hour

Specific responsibilities but not limited to:

• Understand all aspects of the billing process for all payer types.
• Review & Mail out PrivateStatements.
• Post ancillary charges
• Participate in tripe Check for Medicare and Managed Care Billing
• Understand the collecting process for all payers’ types.
• Communicate with Residents/Family as needed.
• Complete facility statistical reports such as monthly facility statistics, daily census, licensure reports as applicable;
• Communicate with our billing company;
• Communicate with Social Services Office, Medi-Cal and MediCare offices as needed;
• Communicate with Insurance companies, HMOs;
• Communicate with pharmacy, laboratory, X-ray, Hospice companies;
• Participate in meetings and committees such as daily stand-up, administrative, quality assurance/quality improvement, Medicare documentation review.

Qualifications: If you meet the below – please apply!

• Completion of high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 6 months of experience in an office setting is necessary (including basic familiarity with computers, copiers, fax machines, etc.).
• Required experience of 6 months in a skilled nursing facility.
• Prior experience using Point Click Care (PCC) is a plus.
• Positive and cheerful demeanor, capable of effectively managing stressful situations and handling upset patients or family members with tact and kindness.
• Strong ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
