We are seeking a Custodian / Janitor to join our growing team and maintain the cleanliness at 3 automotive dealerships located in Putnam and Westchester County.

Hours 8 : 30am-5 : 00pm

Responsibilities

• Keep 3 dealerships in clean and orderly condition.
• Perform any combination of the following duties : sweeping, mopping, scrubbing and vacuuming hallways, stairs and office spaces.
• Use machinery to clean showroom floor, dust entire facility, and maintain multiple bathrooms and kitchen.
• Empty trash and garbage containers.
• Maintain minor and routine painting, electrical and other maintenance activities using hand tools.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Performs various maintenance and custodial duties such as installation and repair to fixtures in
• Troubleshoots and repairs minor plumbing and electrical problems; replaces a variety of light bulbs and lighting accessories.
• Performs preventative maintenance in and around facilities.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Experience in working within a customer service role
• Previous janitorial and / or maintenance experience preferred
• Diligent work ethic and dedicated approach to performing duties
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Salary Description

$18 - $20 / hour
