QA/QC Auditor

Seeking candidates to join our team of Quality professionals as a QA/QC Auditor. The successful candidate can expect to spend most of their time on job sites conducting technical, detailed assessments of workers’ performance and job site conditions. Experience and qualifications should provide a solid basis for conducting thorough, technical field audits. This role is important to the company’s regulatory compliance efforts and its commitment to Core Values and customer service.

The successful candidate will work well with a degree of autonomy and have at least three (3) years of hands-on experience working on construction sites. Candidates should be proficient with or demonstrate the ability to learn to use common field auditing services and technology (such as iAuditor).

What is Required?

  • 3 years in the Electrical or Construction industry
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to think critically and collaborate with multiple stakeholders (external and internal)
  • Ability to identify and record proper and improper practices on construction job site per audit metrics.
  • Proficient with computer skills including email, Microsoft Office.
  • Coordinate with quality inspections with all sites sub-contractors.
  • Prior or current work experience as a crew member or leader in a construction or with an Electrical Contractor
  • Coordinate With Customer Representatives on all quality Matters.
  • Familiarity with quality assurance audits in the Construction industry.
  • Distribute Relevant QA/QC documentation to subcontractors.
  • Verify that the quality related site activities are in accordance with the applicable codes and standards.
  • Experience demonstrating strong analytical skills and critical thinking, with the proven ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Complete and coordinate the approval of the sites QC technical Submittals to the Customer
  • Conduct that reflects the importance of record keeping practices
  • Ensure all Quality control documentation is completed for as-built’s.
  • Prior or current work experience demonstrating the ability to work among a team, take direction from a supervisor(s), focus attention on details, follow work rules and adhere to work schedule.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize work (daily, weekly, monthly)
  • Work experience demonstrates that the candidate is self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal direct supervision.
  • Work experience showing candidate’s ability to successfully perform multiple tasks with strict and sometimes short deadlines.
  • Proficient with blueprints and one-line drawings

Job Details:

  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Pay Frequency: Weekly
  • Compensation Range: $30/hr to $35/hr based on experience.

Working Conditions:

  • Most audits will be performed in field locations in varying environmental and weather conditions; record keeping, report preparation and similar functions will be performed in an office environment.

This position is subject to the Federal Department of Transportation (DOT) drug & alcohol testing regulations as outlined in 49 CFR Part 382 and/or 49 CFR Part 199.
