MECO Engineering is Hiring a Land Surveyor Near Hannibal, MO
Job Description
MECO Engineering Company, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Land Surveyor in our Hannibal, MO office.
The successful candidate will currently be a licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) in Missouri, or possess the ability to obtain Missouri PLS license within approximately 1 year of hire date, with a Bachelor and/or Associate Degree (as required to fulfill licensure requirements). Current PLS licensure in Illinois is also preferred, or possess the ability to obtain Illinois PLS license within approximately 1 year of hire date.
This position requires the management and oversight of all types of land survey services using up-to-date survey instruments and accessories including total stations, data collectors and GPS equipment, in addition to accompanying and leading a field survey team. Our firm is currently upgrading its entire field-to-finish survey/design capabilities.
This position requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work independently and within a team. Excellent communication skills and ability to interact effectively with others are necessary as you will be working directly with a variety of clients and our personnel in the firm’s four offices.
