Position Summary:

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.

Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse (RN)

• Plan, evaluate, assess and implement patient care needs.
• Provide professional nursing care for patients in assigned areas according to established procedures.
• Observe patient’s vital signs and perform procedures and treatment or other functions as ordered by the medical provider.
• Administer medications, monitor and document results.
• Ability to build rapport with patients and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Apply strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Support the health care team and perform all other nursing duties as assigned.
• Adhere to the Board of Registration in Nursing rules and regulations.

Requirements of the Registered Nurse (RN)

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (ADN or BSN)
• Must have a least 1 year of RECENT (Within the last 4 years) of Observation/Med-Surg acute care, hospital experience.
• Must be comfortable with 7:1 nurse to patient ratio
• Current FL Registered Nurse License or Compact/Multi-State license, Required
• BLS (AHA), Required

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to $44.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
