We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. As an MA, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and assisting healthcare professionals in various clinical and administrative tasks. Responsibilities:
- Perform vital signs assessments, including measuring blood pressure, temperature, pulse rate, and respiratory rate
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring cleanliness and organization
- Collect and document patient medical history and update electronic health records
- Provide basic life support in emergency situations
- Perform medical administrative support tasks, such as scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and coordinating referrals
- Assist with coding and billing processes
- Conduct basic laboratory tests, such as urine analysis and blood glucose monitoring
- Prepare patients for X-ray imaging or other diagnostic procedures

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred
- Certification as a Medical Assistant is highly desired
- Proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Knowledge of basic X-ray procedures and techniques
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, healthcare professionals, and administrative staff
- Experience with electronic health records systems is a plus
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
