Provides individualized patient care and documents patient assessments prior and post procedures in collaboration with the Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities

Provides care to patient prior and following procedures

* Establish and document individualized patient care treatment plan

* Monitors and communicates appropriate information and safety concerns regarding the patient's condition to the appropriate members of the healthcare team.

* Provides education to patients regarding health maintenance and disease prevention

* Obtains data and accurately documents pertinent patient information according to Orlando Health specific policies and guidelines.

* Provides exceptional service and or care to all patients, families, customers, and team members

* Assist with TEE, Tilt Table, Cardioversion as needed

* Maintain all documentation required in the procedure logs and other logs as necessary.

* Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.

* Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.

Other Related Functions

* Assist with other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

Education/Training

High school graduate or equivalent.

Licensure/Certification

Current certification as a Paramedic (PMD) in the State of Florida renewed every 2 years; and

Maintains current BLS/Healthcare provider certification for healthcare providers
