Position: Medical Director
Location: Lake Worth, FL (Covering 4 facilities in Illinois)
Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000 annually ($18,000 per facility)
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Medical Director to oversee and manage the clinical operations of four facilities located in Illinois. The Medical Director will be responsible for providing clinical leadership, ensuring high-quality patient care, and collaborating with healthcare teams to enhance operational efficiency. This role involves remote oversight with periodic on-site visits as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical oversight and leadership to healthcare teams across four facilities.
- Develop, implement, and monitor quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal healthcare regulations, standards of care, and best practices.
- Collaborate with facility administrators and staff to address clinical issues and optimize care delivery.
- Review and approve clinical policies, protocols, and procedures.
- Provide mentorship, support, and guidance to physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers.
- Participate in regular meetings with facility leadership to discuss performance metrics and strategic planning.
Qualifications:
- MD or DO with a valid license to practice medicine.
- Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or a related specialty preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, clinical standards, and quality improvement processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple facilities remotely and travel for on-site visits as needed.
