MEDA Engineering and Technical Services, LLC is Hiring a Human Resource Manager Near Lewisburg, TN

Our Tier 1 client, a leading supplier in the design & manufacturing of exterior structural components (plastics/metal), is recruiting for a hands-on, highly motivated, and results-oriented Human Resource Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and programs that align with the organization's goals and objectives.

RESPONSIBILTITES:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and programs to support the organization's mission, vision, and objectives
  • Oversee the recruitment and selection process, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions
  • Manage employee onboarding, orientation, and offboarding processes to ensure a positive experience for new and departing employees
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution
  • Lead and coordinate training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills, knowledge, and performance
  • Maintain compliance with employment laws and regulations, including FMLA, ADA, FLSA, and EEOC requirements
  • Develop and administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives
  • Oversee employee relations activities, including employee engagement surveys, recognition programs, and communication strategies
  • Manage HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and ensure accurate and up-to-date employee records
  • Prepare and analyze HR metrics and reports to assess the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives
  • Lead diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives to foster a culture of belonging and respect in the workplace
  • Stay informed about HR trends, best practices, and legal developments to ensure compliance and continuous improvement

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is strongly preferred
  • 3 – 5 years of proven experience in Human Resource Management in a high - volume manufacturing environment. Preference given to candidates with automotive manufacturing
  • Comprehensive knowledge of HR functions, including legal compliance, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and training and development
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively convey complex information
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and programs that support organizational objectives
  • Proficiency in HRIS and other HR software systems
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions
