Overview

Join our collegial, professional and compassionate nephrology team at Indiana University Health in Fishers, Indiana. We are seeking a patient-focused G eneral Nephrologist to provide much needed specialized care to our patients suffering from a plethora of kidney-related ailments.

Position Details :

  • Work-life balance with standard schedule and shared call coverage amongst the entire nephrology team
  • Split inpatient and outpatient coverage, including : Inpatient rounding on nephrology patients Patients with AKI, CKD, ESRD and various other kidney related ailments
  • Dialysis and clinic outreach in outlying, suburban communities
  • Faculty appointment with the Indiana University School of Medicine with expectation to educate and supervise residents and fellows, with research opportunities available if desired

Qualifications :

  • Candidate must be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine & Nephrology
  • Internal Medicine residency & Nephrology fellowship completions
  • New graduates or experienced physicians encouraged to apply
  • Physician MD / DO licensed in Indiana or eligible for medical licensure in Indiana

The hospital offers the only 24 / 7 coverage for urgent heart care in the city of Fishers, and is home to the IU Health Hip and Knee Center (where more hip and knee replacements are performed than any other IU Health facility in the state).
