Candidate must have a minimum of 2 years current and applicable experience in private medical practice billing, insurance follow-up, local insurance plans, and handling insurance and patient telephone calls. Candidate must have experience in google, Microsoft word, and excel. Knowledge in Medent practice management software, CPT, and ICD-10 codes are a plus.

Responsibilities Include:

• Answering patient billing calls and emails.
• Answering client emails and calls.
• Placing insurance, A/R calls and appeals preparation.
• Insurance benefits verification
• Assist medical billers and account managers in administrative tasks.
• Data input and special projects.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
