Personal Caregiver / Homemaker

Locations: Lake St. Louis, St. Charles, Lincoln and Warren County

New Beginnings In-Home / CDS, LLC is a certified Medicare Home Health Agency that offers comprehensive home health services to its clients. Quality care is the primary focus of our organization, and we make every attempt to personalize our service to meet the needs of our clients. New Beginnings In-Home / CDS, LLC is seeking a caregivers to deliver varied duties to Hospice patients, their families and the office team.

We encourage ongoing collaboration between our professional health staff and your physicians to design a plan of care that meets the client's needs.

Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and clean up after meals, including special diet menus.

Wash dishes.

As needed, participants in basic patient care, depending on individual resident's diagnoses, and type of care given may require additional precautions as noted.

Coordinates a variety of services as needed.

Refers to Physical Therapists, Speech Pathologist, Occupational Therapist, Medical Social Worker, and Office Manager with any needs the client may need.

Ability to be "on-call" as assigned.

Help with daily activities of life, and house worker chores.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications / Experience:

Must be 18 years old or older.

Previous experience as a caregiver that was paid or unpaid

Write and understand basic directions.

Basic math skills required for adding time, measurements with food and OTC meds.

Ability to interpret and understand instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Must be registered on the Family Care Safety Registry (FCSR) - $15.25 fee (Cash or Money order only).

Must possess two forms of ID (such as State ID, and Social Security Care or Birth Certificate).
