About the Team / Role

This role works on the planning and implementation of projects that support the marketing function. This position oversees the communications and marketing collateral specific to employee benefits industry .

This position works within the marketing department, collaborating with various marketing professionals to create a unified and consistent message to the intended audience.

This position also interacts directly with marketing managers to identify new marketing opportunities, prepares regular marketing activity reports and responds to questions and requests from the sales organization and / or other key stakeholders.

This role works individually or with a team in recommending action, scheduling and planning projects, estimating cost and managing projects to completion.

How you'll make an impactFormulate, direct, and coordinate marketing and communications activities that support overall audience marketing and communications objectivesMaintain an inventory and directory of marketing and communications support materials making sure all resources are accurate and current while coordinating new material creation as neededCreate content for customer communications, web, social, email campaigns, promotional materials, and newslettersOversee the design of educational and promotional materialsDevelop and execute customer and stakeholder communications and email campaignsReview materials and content created by the marketing teamManage mailing / contact lists for accuracy of communication deploymentReport on effectiveness of external communicationsExperience you'll bring

Bachelor's degree in Business, marketing or related fieldMinimum of 2-3 years of related experienceExperience working with Adobe Creative Suite products (Indesign, Photoshop)Experience with email campaign strategy, writing email campaigns and campaign analysisExperience working in systems such as Salesforce and Pardot for campaign managementHighly self-motivated individual who works equally well both independently with some supervision and in a team environmentGraphic design experienceStrong presentation skillsRelationship and team building skillsBackground in marketing strategies and techniquesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsConfidence in dealing with challenging situationsAbility to think creativelyDetail orientation, organizational skills, multi-task and manage multiple simultaneous projectsStrong decision-making with the ability to work independently and as a teamPublic speaking skillsAbility to facilitate the flow of multiple projects, ensuring adherence to quality control measures and project goals, including working effectively with internal and external resources to ensure a smooth and productive flow of workLocation : preferably near Cincinnati / Mason, OH for occasional in-office collaboration

The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role.

Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan.
