Responsibilities (summary) : You will be joining a support team that manages the administrative tasks for two Financial Advisors.
Daily responsibilities and tasks take on a wide array of duties that vary from day-to-day to help support the advisors and our clients.
Financial experience is a plus, but not necessary; an Associate or Bachelor's degree is preferred. Schedule is 5 days per week (40 hours.
Retirement plan provided after three months.Responsibilities, but not all-inclusive : Provide pre and post meeting support to the Financial Advisors.
Complete paperwork for multiple product types and route to clients and various firm operations as specified by their financial plan.
Greet office visitors, answer, and direct phone calls.Monitor alerts, research, and resolve account issues or miscellaneous questions for clients and advisors.
Manage multiple calendars and email accounts.Maintain files and organize file room.Understand and adhere to all Prudential policies and procedures.
Maintain confidentiality of company and client information.Work closely with other administrative staff and support other colleagues as needed.
Any additional tasks as they come up or as the business evolves to support the team.Qualifications : Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred;
financial experience is a plus.Prior office experience preferred.Proficient in a variety of computer software applications including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)Competencies : To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies : Must be able to learn and retain a large amount of procedural information in a relatively short period of time.
Strong technology / computer aptitude including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.Exceptional oral and written communication, and customer service skills.
Intuitive and resourceful to gather, analyze and resolve complicated issues.Manage in and outbound calls with professionalism.
Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness.Possess excellent time management skills.Thrive in a fast-paced environment.Ability to excel in a team environment, as well as work independently.
Effective multi-tasking, organization and prioritization skills, and ability to handle the unexpected.Ability to maintain a positive attitude and approach to work, even in difficult or stressful situations, is essential.
