TITLE : Library Paraprofessional
QUALIFICATION : Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would qualify.
High School diploma requiredMeet one of the paraprofessional competency training requirements below :
two years of post-secondary education coursework (48 college credits) orHighly Qualified Special Education Certificate through PDE orpassing score on the Comprehensive Assessment of Paraprofessional Educators (CAPE) Test orPossess the ability to obtain highly qualified status through educational opportunities provided within the timeline of the district
Prior experience working with students with disabilitiesMust have obtained (or will obtain) valid PA Criminal, PA Child Abuse and FBI Criminal History Background Checks (Use code 1KG6XN) within the last twelve (12) months.
REPORTS TO : Building Principal
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT : Ten (10) month position - Hourly pay, work schedule, and other conditions of employment in accordance with current District applicable policies and the York Suburban Educational Support Personnel agreement.
