Responsibilities
- Ability to do basic design work.
- Adjust customer-supplied art to Berry specifications.
- Follow Artist instructions in graphics tracking software.
- Prepare mock-ups as needed.
- Produce color separations for printing plates.
- Produce color proofs for internal and external customers.
- Keep digital files organized according to procedures.
- Follow up on jobs that are out for approval.
- Ability to communicate well with customers.
- Take on special projects for other departments as needed.
- Basic knowledge of printing (dry offset, flexo, silkscreen).
- Consistently meet acceptable standards of quality and quantity.
- Contribute to department and corporate goals.
- Demonstrate a team-oriented mindset.
Qualifications
- Degree in Graphics Arts and / or Printing Technology or equivalent in work experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Extensive experience with Mac operating systems and associated software with emphasis on Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Color vision within normal limits.
- Visual acuity of at least 20 / 50 for distance (corrected or uncorrected) and a minimal near vision
ability to read 10-12 point type at a distance of 12-18 inches.
