Kia of Cheyenne is seeking a service writer, hiring immediately.

Service Writer Job Duties

• Greet incoming customers and address their needs and concerns
• Write up customers information, receive their keys and start a repair order if a walk in or
• Schedule the customers oil change / repair / recall in a manner that doesn’t conflict with other customers appointments and giving the technicians enough time to compete each job
• Receive

multiple

phone calls a day for scheduling appointments

• Follow up phone call with customers daily with an update of the status of their vehicle
• Generate quotes for customers regarding repairs
• Generate repair order in our system - AutoSoft
• Review what was done with the customer when they pick up their vehicle
• Communicate with extended warranty companies to make sure what is being done is covered under the warranty
• Communicate and follow the factory warranty guidelines regarding pre delivery inspections
• Communicate and follow the factory warranty guidelines regarding any repair that may be covered
• Managing the detailers with their job duties and time management
• Communicate with insurance companies if repair is covered by customers insurance

Requirements

• Experience preferred
• Valid driver license
• Customer service oriented
• Must be organized
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Communicating within all departments for customer satisfaction
• Able to use multi-line phone system
• Checking voicemails and following up with customer
• Keeping a clean, well-organized area
• Computer skills fast typing
