Overview:

MANA Family Medicine in Springdale is a well-established family practice clinic located in the heart of Springdale. We are currently looking for a bi-lingual (English/Spanish) Medical Assistant to join our team!

The RMA to the Physician is responsible for providing direct or indirect care to patients who present with urgent, emergent, or potential health problems; utilizes knowledge of basic Medical Assistant principals, practices and ethics; participates in the organization and management of the physician's practice.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist physician in setting up for procedures and exams, revising daily schedules; obtaining charts and charge tickets, locating lab tests and X-ray reports
  • Ensure that patient chart/EMR entries are made accurately and in a timely manner
  • Contact pharmacy to order new and refill prescriptions; notify patient; document appropriately
  • Notify hospital or personnel of physician's orders
  • Triage patients to ensure productive departmental flow
Qualifications:
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • RMA or CMA
  • 12 to 18 months related experience and/or training
