Job Summary And QualificationsUnder the general supervision of the O.R. Clinical Coordinator and the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse, the sterilization technician/instrument technician is responsible for processing instrument trays and other supplies necessary for surgical procedures.
What qualifications you will need:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Certified Sterile Processing Technician (CSPT), or Cert Sterile Proc/Distrib Tech must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
- Prefer 1 year of previous experience in a surgical services environment
