Medical College of Wisconsin is Hiring a Program Manager I-KNN Organizational Engagement Near Wauwatosa, WI

Position Description:

As a Program Manager I with the KNN Organizational Engagement Team, you will work independently, under the direction of the Kern National Network's (KNN) Senior Manager, Learning and Engagement to manage the activities of KNN Group and Organization engagement. Manage the Group and Organization experiences to achieve established goals and objectives through effective planning, organizing, controlling and coordinating of project tasks.
All remote work must be performed within one of the MCW registered payroll states, which currently includes: WI, AZ, FL, IL, IN, MD, MI, MN, MO, NC, TN, TX, and UT.

Responsibilities

  • Support the functions of the KNN Group and Organization engagement experiences by aligning to project vision, developing implementation plans by deploying project management techniques and supporting Groups and Organizations with effective communication and facilitation skills.
  • Manage project planning processes as it relates to developing and implementing the experience for each engaged Group and Organization.
  • Maintain project timeline including tracking deadlines and requirements for program deliverables.
  • Develop and manage the unique experience and timelines for each Group and Organization and communicate with the external contacts and teams.
  • Schedule people and material resources, specifically: planning meetings with Groups and Organizations, virtual orientations, virtual convenings, in-person strategic meetings and Workshops, and additional meetings as requested.
  • Take a relational approach to work with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and contribute to the development of engagement materials including educational materials, marketing materials, websites, groups in the KNN Online Community, forms, reports and more.
  • Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs, scope and requirements.
  • Oversee the collection, analysis, and dissemination of program data; contribute to the reporting of program data and project progress.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive databases and files related to the program.
  • Participate in the development, utilization and review of planning materials including programmatic materials and reports.
  • Create and oversee effective communication plans that address all aspects of the engagement experiences and target appropriate audiences; independently answer inquiries about activities and procedures.
  • Organize internal and external meetings, site visits, and special events, and facilitate meetings with participants of KNN Groups and Organizations as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with departmental, regulatory and institutional policies.
  • Participate on appropriate committees relevant to the advancement of the program and the profession or area of research.

Traveling Requirements: Must be willing to travel at least 20%.

Knowledge - Skills - Abilities

  • Able to independently manage assigned projects, tasks and workgroups; accurately complete project within budget and by the due date with high customer satisfaction.
  • Demonstrates a strong background in project management and enforces project management best practices and methodologies.
  • Recognize issues and determine priority. Able to quickly isolate and independently resolve issues utilizing all available resources. Able to proactively prevent issues from occurring again and to anticipate future issues.
  • Effectively communicate in both written and verbal form to customers and management. Able to create comprehensive documentation for all phases of the project.
  • Handle stressful situations in a calm and patient manner. Must maintain a positive attitude in all situations.

Preferred Schedule: Fully Remote. Mon-Friday 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

Minimum Qualifications:

Appropriate experience may be substituted for education on an equivalent basis.

Minimum education: Bachelor's Degree

Minimum experience: 6 years

Preferred Qualifications:

Preferred education: Master's Degree

Preferred experience: Program management experience
