We are seeking a HEDIS Coordinator for our Deerfield Beach Corporate Office. This is not a remote position!

Basic knowledge of HEDIS is required.

eCW EMR knowledge is preferred.

Essential Duties are as follows:

1. Review and make appropriate updates to clinical quality metrics.

2. Coordinate HEDIS processes and create a plan to improve scores.

3. Implement a process to request and evaluate member compliance reports for each HEDIS measure, including evaluating improvement opportunities.

4. Conduct regular quality audits and report findings to supervisor or departments, if applicable.
5. Maintain all data and process controls to ensure compliance is upheld.

6. Facilitates provider to ensure member receipt of important clinical services to improve member health outcomes.

7. Provides support for HEDIS quality initiatives and regulatory/contractual requirements including outreach to members who are noncompliant in the designated outreach services.

8. Supports effective medical record capture for HEDIS medical record review and abstraction of supplemental data.

9. Identifies potential resources and initiates collaboration with providers to improve member health outcomes and HEDIS measures.

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelors’ Degree from an accredited college or university, with major in business, marketing, health care or related field preferred. A comparable amount of experience would be acceptable.

Experience:

  • Recent and related experience working with HEDIS criteria is highly desirable.
  • Experience in medical field is highly desirable.
  • Medical Terminology is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of government CMS regulatory requirements is preferred.
  • Computer literate: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) required.
  • eClinicalWorks electronic medical records system knowledge a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
