Position Summary 

The Pulmonology Advanced Practitioner position is located in one of DC’s prime locations, Foggy Bottom. The GW Medical Faculty Associates is the nation's largest independent practice consisting of 52 medical and surgical specialties. As members of the GW School of Medicine and Health Sciences faculty, our providers are teachers and mentors for medical students, residents, and researchers preserving our rich tradition of academics, research, and healing. 

We are currently looking for an experienced Pulmonology Advanced Practitioner to join our outpatient practice. The position is Monday through Friday, no nights, weekends, or holidays. The shifts are 8 hrs a day, and you are given 10 paid holidays including Juneteenth plus paid time off. With the flexibility of your schedule, you are able to enjoy DC’s parks, monuments, and many events held in the summer.

Minimum Qualifications

Education

• NP: A master's degree in nursing and completion of an approved course of study as a nurse practitioner.
• Current ANCC certification
• PA: A Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies and completion of PANCE
• D.C. licensure or in the process is required

Experience

• At least two years of experience in an ambulatory setting preferred or as a NP/PA
• familiarity with pulmonology preferred
