Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional care for patients undergoing diagnostic and invasive procedures.
• Administer moderate sedation and monitor patients closely.
• Manage peripheral and central lines for IV fluids and medications.
• Deliver emergency care as needed, ensuring swift and accurate response.
• Administer medications and blood products, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to protocols.
• Offer psychological support and care for patients with diverse physical and psychological diagnoses.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of three (3) years current experience (within the last six months) in a procedural area such as Radiology or GI Lab.
• Education: Graduate of a state-approved nursing school accredited by ACEN or CCNE. A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Nursing or a related field is highly preferred.
• Licensure: Active, unrestricted RN license from any state (United States).

Special Skills

• Competence in the care of patients requiring special precautions such as isolation.
• Proficiency in inserting and maintaining peripheral and central lines.
• Ability to provide comprehensive care including phlebotomy, bedside testing, and administration of various medications.
• Strong assessment skills and the ability to provide psychological support to patients.

• Expect to work 8-hour shifts Monday to Friday, 0730 to 1600.
