What We're Looking For:

• Experience: Minimum of three years of current experience in an inpatient psychiatric unit (must have worked within the last six months).
• Skills:
• Expert in assessing, diagnosing, and treating psychiatric problems.
• Proficient in de-escalation techniques.
• Strong team player, working alongside other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate the mental health needs of patients.
• Facilitate and conduct contraband searches to ensure a safe environment.
• Monitor and conduct timely evaluations of the mental health environment of care.
• Develop personalized treatment plans and provide psychotherapy services.
• Coordinate with families, doctors, and other health professionals.
• Administer medications accurately and safely.

Minimum Education

• Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by the appropriate State-accrediting agency and accredited by ACEN or CCNE.
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing or a related field is highly preferred.
