Job Description

Medical Temporaries, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Procedural Scheduler- GI

Minimum of 1 year of experience required.

This is a FULL TIME/TEMP TO HIRE position requiring availability between the hours of 8:30 AM- 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, located in Norfolk, VA (23502).

Responsibilities:

A Day in the Life of a Procedural Scheduler- GI:

As a Procedural Scheduler-GI, you will be responsible for providing excellent patient care while abiding by all HIPAA laws and regulations in an outpatient clinic setting. Your role is instrumental in the assessment process for the clinic visit which includes scheduling procedures, laboratory testing, and radiology tests. You will be scheduling patients in the office and also over the phone and providing information and education to the patients regarding their procedures. This position is in the heart of Norfolk, VA 23502!

Requirements for the Procedural Scheduler-GI:

Required: Medical experience.
Required: Knowledge of Medical terminology
Required: At least 1 year of Computer EMR experience
Required: All patients and staff are required to wear masks.
Required: COVID vaccination or medical waiver
Required: Ability to pass Background Check and Drug Screen
Required: Must be reliable and a quick learner and can multi-task with accuracy in a very busy environment
Required: Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications for the Procedure Scheduler:

Preferred: Gastroenterology experience

$19.00 PER HOUR OR MORE (DEPENDING ON YOUR LEVEL OF EXPERIENCE)
