The Financial Case Manager coordinates exchange of information with case managers, business department and payers. This Case Manager will assist the hospital in obtaining appropriate financial reimbursement. Participates in the collection and measuring of those processes related to utilization management.
Required: Associates degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school. LPN or RN degree required. Minimum three to five years recent nursing practice required. Two years in Case Management required.
Current Alabama Licensure as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse by the Alabama Board of Nursing; Basic Life Support Certification by the American Heart Association
