Overview of Position
We are looking to hire an enthusiastic and hardworking Talent Management Specialist to work within our Talent Management team and assist with our Talent Acquisition (TA) and Organizational Development (OD) initiatives. You will assist our Recruiters, hiring teams and candidates to ensure the recruiting, hiring and onboarding process runs smoothly. You will also partner on OD initiatives that support the engagement and development of our team members and reinforce a strong company culture. Ultimately, you will help our company hire, onboard and develop the most qualified talent for our open roles and ensure Talent Acquisition and Organizational Development programs and processes are aligned to our Company's strategic priorities and people mission.
Job Responsibilities
  • Partner with the TA team to ensure recruitment and onboarding process is effective and efficient. This includes building relationships with hiring managers, scheduling interviews and other meetings related to Talent Management initiatives, reviewing approved requisitions for accuracy, partnering with hiring managers and HRBPs on adjustments needed before posting, coordinating with Recruiter to post jobs on external sites, acting as Subject Matter Expert and liaison with HRIS Administrator for ATS matters, initiating and managing new hire pre-employment and onboarding processes, tracking all new hire activity and leading weekly New Hire Orientation.
  • Partner with the OD team on administering organizational development processes, platforms, programs, training and other learning experiences that are aligned to strategic priorities and organizational objectives, to include Performance Management, Learning & Development, Succession Planning and/or Employee Engagement. This includes managing LMS content, assisting in development and execution of training, assisting team members with questions about OD platforms, running various reports and partnering on employee engagement initiatives.
  • Review, revamp, update, enhance and create SOPs and other documents for various Talent Management programs, processes and initiatives.
  • Act as liaison between onsite Supply Chain temp partner, business leaders and HR.
  • Manage and maintain Talent Management vendor partners, to include coordinating training sessions, QBRs and other ad-hoc meetings.
  • Assist with tracking, auditing, storing and reporting of Talent Management activities in various systems and documents.
  • Source resumes and conduct initial phone screens with applicants and advertise recruiting events through various social media avenues and job boards and attend recruiting events, as needed.
  • Assist HR team members with additional HR-related projects, as needed.
Knowledge, Education, Skills & Abilities
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, Communications or similar field or equivalent work experience.
  • 3-5 years previous Talent Acquisition, Organizational Development or HR Generalist experience.
  • Experience with Talent Acquisition, Learning Management, Performance Management and/or HR software, Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Experience with project and program coordination.
  • Ability to execute and prioritize multiple tasks/projects and ability to meet multiple individual and team deadlines in a fast-paced, changing, dynamic work environment with ever-changing priorities.
  • Excellent presentation, communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships in course of work, team-oriented and willing to contribute to the overall workflow of the department.
  • Ability to exercise effective judgment, confidentiality, sensitivity and creativity to changing needs and situations.
  • Extremely organized, detail-oriented and a self-starter.
  • Critical-thinker and effective problem-solver.
