We're hiring for a primary care/family practice clinic located in the Plymouth, MN area.

Location: Plymouth, Minnesota

Duration: Contract-to-permanent

Schedule/Shift:

Family Practice (6 Openings):

• Option 1: 4 days, 36 hours/week (off Wed.)
• Option 2: 5 days, 40 hours/week (off Tues. PM)
• Option 3: 33 hours/week (off Wed. and Tues. PM)
• Option 4: 4 days, 38 hours/week (off Tues.)
• Option 5: 4 days, 35 hours/week (off Mon.)
• Option 6: 4 days, 24 hours/week (off Wed. and Fri.)

Pay Rate: $20.33 - $27.11/hour, based on experience/CMA tenure

Position Summary:

• Escorting patients to exam rooms and documenting visit information and vitals (height, weight, blood pressure).
• Preparing and administering medications and immunizations as directed by a clinician, RN, or following standing orders.
• Performing and assisting with procedures and treatments such as ear lavage, EKGs, and bladder scans as directed by the clinician.
• Completing all components of the standard rooming process, including medication reconciliation, pending refills, allergy review, immunization reconciliation, and completing appropriate forms and questionnaires to support clinical quality.
• Complying with all relevant laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and standards.

Role Requirements:

• Education: Medical Assistant diploma from an accredited program (CAAHEP or ABHES)
• Certification: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) OR Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
• BLS Certification: Through the American Heart Association or Red Cross
• Comfortable with a fast-paced environment
• Ability to commit to the schedule requirements (various schedule options available)
