Medix is hiring a Data Entry Specialist in a lab in the Chesterfield, MO 63017 area!
Duties / Responsibilities :
- When phlebotomist brings in a specimen, this person is going to process the patient info on it.
- They have tubes of blood or urine and are entering info (some repeat patients so lots of the same date), they will also answer phones for labs, run the fax machine.
- They have to make sure all info is correct because they work hand and hand w / the billing team and need all that info to be right.
- They will also do the preparing of the specimen for next phase and put it in lockbox for pickup. They will also clean the Lab.
- Volume - 50-75 patients a day so fairly busy.
- They are looking for a fun and outgoing attitude, someone who wants to work and grow, dependable!

- Friendly / Welcoming
- If you know data entry and know insurances and ICD 10 codes that's great
Schedule : Monday - Friday, 11a-5p, roughly 30 hours a week
Setting : Lab
Pay Range : $16-$18 / hr
