Medix is Hiring a Medical Receptionist Near Noblesville, IN
- Will be working as a Medical Receptionist at the front desk of their Fishers/Saxony location
- Working alongside 1 other MR (total of 2 on this team)
- Duties include: Greeting patients upon arrival, collecting ID's & demographic information, pre registration, reviewing chart prior to appt ensuring all necessary information is collected, they review all faxes online (no fax machine) & update patient files, validate/confirm insurance (this will mainly down online, sometimes may have to call), patient check ins/outs
- Will be responsible for patient collections when payment is owed (copays, deductibles, etc)
- Can expect 20 patients/day
- Inbound/outbound calls: confirming/cancelling/scheduling appts, patient questions, filtering calls to Provder/back office when necessaryFair call volume, around 15-20 calls/day (sharing phone line w/ MR counterpart)
- Looking for any type of EMR experience - Manager believes if they are comfortable in working with one, they can be trained on any
- 6 months minimum of medical office exposureReally looking for the right candidate/culture fit
