The typical schedule for this position is Monday – Friday from 8:30 AM – 5 PM, and the pay is $15/hr.
Responsibilities:
- Interview patients and record their medical history.
- Measure patients’ vital signs.
- Help physicians with patient examinations.
- Utilize an EMR to build patient charts.
- Schedule surgeries between patients and physicians.
- Educate patients on pre- and post-surgery care and expectations.
- Obtain surgery authorizations.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 2 years of experience as a medical assistant required.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced medical clinic required.
- Certification from an accredited program a plus.
