Job description - Human Resources Manager

This position is in a healthcare setting - prior HR experience in a healthcare setting is highly preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee the entire recruitment and selection process, mange openings ranging from front office clerical roles to food service and healthcare professionals.
• Require experience in both non-clinical and clinical settings.
• Administer and interpret Human Resources policies and procedures.
• Document and monitor attendance, time off, etc.
• Assist in administering employee benefits.
• Aid in creating and coordinating recognition programs or events.
• Oversee employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
• Prepare reports as needed.
• Monitor and respond to unemployment and Worker’s Compensation claims.
• Audit and perform edits in payroll and submit for processing.

Requirements:

• Associate’s degree in human resources management or a related field; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2 years of general experience in the HR field.
• Experince with HR in a healthcare setting
• Knowledge of federal and state laws.
• Preferred PHR/SPHR Certification.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
• Energetic, professional with exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Team player.
• Compassionate and understanding of eldercare.
• Experience with HRIS and other technology.
