DescriptionPosition at WebMDOverviewThe Director of Programmatic Strategy & Technology at Ignite will be responsible for driving the
strategy, execution, and optimization of programmatic advertising campaigns for our clients. You
will lead a team of programmatic specialists, leveraging data-driven insights and cutting-edge
technology to delivertargeted, effective, and scalable media solutions for our clients. You will need
a deep understanding of programmatic advertising, a proven track record of successful campaign
management, and strong leadership skills to inspire and empowerthe team to achieve exceptional
results for our clients. Healthcare experience is helpful. Strong analytical and quantitative skills,
with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions required.
Key Responsibilities
  • Strategy Development:
  • Develop strategic plans and objectives for programmatic media campaigns,
aligning them with client goals,target audiences, and industry trends.
  • Collaborate with clients, account managers, and other stakeholders to define
campaign objectives, KPIs, and success metrics within the context of an
omni-channel strategy..
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends,technologies, and best practices in programmatic
advertising, leveraging insights to inform campaign strategies.
  • Campaign Management:
  • Oversee the end-to-end execution of programmatic advertising campaigns,from
campaign setup and optimization to performance monitoring and reporting.
  • Lead the team in leveraging demand-side platforms (DSPs) including our own
captive DSP (Pulsepoint LIFE), ad exchanges, and data management platforms
(DMPs)to execute targeted media buys across digital channels.
  • Implement advanced targeting and optimization strategies, including audience
segmentation, retargeting, and dynamic creative optimization (DCO),to maximize
campaign effectiveness. Campaign audiences to include consumer as well as health
care professionals.
  • Team Leadership and Development:
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of programmatic specialists, providing guidance,
support, and feedback to foster professional growth and development.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence within the team,
promoting knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Serve as the primary point of contactfor clients regarding programmatic media
campaigns, providing strategic guidance, insights, and recommendations.
  • Build and maintain strong clientrelationships, understanding their business
objectives, challenges, and opportunities to delivertailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with account managers and other stakeholders to ensure alignment
between client expectations and campaign deliverables.
  • Performance Analysis and Optimization:
  • Monitor campaign performance in real-time, analyzing key metrics and KPIs to
identify trends, insights, and areas for optimization.
  • Implement data-driven optimization strategies to improve campaign performance,
including bid management, creative testing, and audience refinement.
  • Generate comprehensive reports and insights to communicate campaign results,
insights, and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 3-5 years ofleading a programmatic team
  • 8 years programmatic experience and healthcare marketing experience preferred
  • Understanding of backend DSP technology and algorithm feeds preferred
  • Team player with strong organizational and cross-team relationship skills
  • Strong excel and application-based math/formula skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects across various teams and team members
  • Problem solving and troubleshooting skills - technical
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
