Position Summary

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for the independent operation of a scintillation camera, and for performing and communicating results of diagnostic Nuclear Medicine examinations. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for daily operations of the Nuclear Medicine Department, patient schedule, equipment maintenance, the report of equipment failures, and quality assessment (QA). The Nuclear Medicine Technologist maintains a high standard of medical ethics at all times and is self-motivated to increase level of understanding and knowledge of the field, disease, and new procedures as they evolve.

Minimum Qualifications

• One year recent experience required
• NMTCB or ARRT(N) required
• California Radiology State License required
• **Must be able to perform lymphoscintigraphy studies (technologist performing the injection of the tracer)
• BLS/CPR required

4 DAY TENS or 5 DAY EIGHTS or 3 TWELVES= 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM or 3:30 PM... 13 week contract assignment.

Is on-call REQ? Yes call coverage every weekday 4-11PM / weekend and Holidays 7-11PM

PAY

$3,223 Per Week for 40 hours PLUS any on call pay and callbacks performed.

On call Pay = $10/Hour. Callback Pay = $144/callback.
