MedSR is Hiring a Sales Development Representative Near Somerset, NJ

Job Summary: The Sales Development professional will work cooperatively with marketing, outside sales and other members of the sales organization to create new customers and meet or exceed monthly and annual sales quotas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Exemplify and live out medSR’s culture and values when interacting with prospects, current customers, and other medSR team members
  • Prospect and qualify Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) and convert into Sales-Accepted opportunities
  • Connect with prospects via phone, email, video, and social outreach (LinkedIn)
  • Leverage Salesforce and SalesLoft for sales management and prospecting: Making sure to log all activity including phone calls, appointments, emails, or any other interaction with target accounts
  • Maintain good quality lead hygiene within Salesforce and SalesLoft
  • Work cross-functionally with Marketing and other internal teams to generate pipeline
  • Identify recent market trends and changes to assist marketing with new and innovative outbound campaigns
  • Assisting in researching and assisting in responding to related RFP’s
  • Assist in developing and supporting social media campaigns
  • Expected to achieve high activity rates on a daily basis
  • Consistently exceed monthly, quarterly, and yearly quotas
  • Develop and execute a lead generation plan including Outbound and Inbound prospect management
  • Attend sales group meetings concerning sales targets, forecasts, and reporting on market situation and competition
  • Participating fully in training sessions, meetings, skill building and professional development

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in health care professional services related industry
  • Prior experience working within or selling to Private Equity (PE) Firms
  • Relevant experience as an SDR / Inside Sales role
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Office and Salesforce
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving measurable goals in a fast-paced sales environment
  • Bonus skills: Healthcare knowledge, Healthcare Technology knowledge, healthcare related experience, selling to Private Equity Firms, selling to physician practices, Tech savvy, Salesforce.com
