Position: Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)
Location: Queens, NY
Salary: $120,000 to $130,000

An elegant long-term care and skilled nursing facility near Queens, NY, is seeking a compassionate and professional Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our dedicated team. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our residents while supporting and leading our nursing staff.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the supervision and management of nursing staff, ensuring high-quality care is consistently provided.
- Ensure adequate nursing staffing levels and maintain current skill sets among staff.
- Oversee nursing employee conduct, providing guidance and support to uphold professional standards.
- Stay informed of incidents within the facility and ensure proper reporting and follow-up.
- Assess and address the health needs of residents, working closely with the Director of Nursing to implement care plans.
Requirements:
- Active RN license in New York State.
- Previous experience as an Assistant Director of Nursing is preferred.
- Experience in long-term care is a must.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership and management abilities, with a commitment to fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
