MedStaffers is hiring for a direct care worker for Lock haven, Lycoming County. This position is Monday-Friday 3pm-11pm with rotating weekend days from 8am-4;30pm. Our current client is wheelchair dependent and uses a stander for transfers. Client needs assist with personal care, meal prep and Light housework. Our client is looking for a caring dependable person to assist them in their home.

Responsibilities May Include:

• Assisting with personal care such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and incontinence care
• Assistance with ambulation, transfers, and exercises
• Light housekeeping such as dusting, vacuuming, washing dishes, and laundry
• Running errands such as grocery shopping and transportation to medical appointments
• Preparation and serving of meals and snacks
• Medication Reminders
• Companionship

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• 1 year of home care experience, preferred (but we will train the right person!)
• Reliable vehicle or transportation
• Must be willing to undergo a criminal background check and complete (or provide) a 2 step TB test
