General Summary of Position

The Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) at MedStar Union Memorial
Hospital specializes in providing advanced care for cardiac patients, while
also serving as a versatile unit for patients requiring general intermediate
care. Our dedicated team is skilled in managing a variety of cardiac conditions
and administering complex cardiac drips. In addition to cardiac care, we
support a diverse patient population with varying medical needs, ensuring
comprehensive and compassionate care for all. Our state-of-the-art facilities
and expert staff are committed to delivering the highest standard of patient
care and safety.

Key Responsibilities
As a Clinical Nurse you will deliver proficient nursing care to patients and families whose needs range from uncomplicated to highly complex. You will identify current and potential complex problems of specific patient populations and critically analyzes trends and changes in patient status and plans appropriate interventions directly or indirectly through other nurses.

Qualifications
ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
Prior Clinical Nursing Experience preferred.
Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required.
