MedStar Health Research Institute is adding a Research Project Manager to its onsite team in Washington, DC in support of our recently granted long-term project looking at social determinants of health for pediatric populations and their families. The Research Project Manager will be responsible forplanning, coordinating, and overseeing the successful execution of the researchproject. This role involves managing project teams, liaising with stakeholders,ensuring adherence to timelines, and contributing to the overall success ofresearch endeavors. The ideal candidate should have a strong background inproject management, research methodologies, and effective communication.
The individual in this role isexpected to oversee and lead large interprofessional multi-sector projects requiringcollaboration with various disciplines, managing data, and contribute toresearch and evaluation activities.
Ideal candidates will have the following:
- Proven experience in managing research projects from inception to completion.
- Strong understanding of research methodologies and data analysis.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Experience in Human Factors engineering is a plus.
