Correctional nurses provide the following services with approximately 1500 nursing employees, sick calls, medication administration, chronic disease and specialty clinics, processing for admission and placement, ambulatory/emergency care triage, medical observation beds, infirmary, inpatient and outpatient and etc.
8 hour & 12 hour shifts are available!
Requirements:
Requirements:
- Must have a valid CPR
- Must have a North Carolina License RN
- Must have a valid 2 step TB
- Must have 2 forms of ID
- Must complete a drug Screen and Background
- At least 6 months of nursing experience, preferably in a correctional or similar setting
- Excellent clinical skills and the ability to provide compassionate care to a diverse patient population
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work well as part of a team
- NO CELL PHONES ARE ALLOWED IN THE PRISON! THEY WILL CHECK!
Pay rate is: RNs: 55 AN HR.
Day and Evening shifts are available!
