Senior Staffing Director, Healthcare Staffing

6 years staffing industry experience required

Location: Oakbrook, Illinois. Will offer relocation for the right candidate. Occasional travel required.

Our client is a robust Regional Staffing Group looking to grow their Healthcare vertical and they need an "Operator". With a focus on behavior health and revenue cycle management, they has carved a niche in providing quality healthcare professionals across Illinois and Wisconsin and 2 other states.

We’re hiring for a Senior Staffing Director to lead our sales and recruitment team, optimize processes, and drive revenue growth.

What You Will Do

• Lead and mentor a team of 5, including recruiters and a recruiting manager.
• Optimize sales strategies to expand business lines and increase revenue.
• Implement a travel nurse strategy to tap into new markets and strengthen client relationships.
• Oversee VMS operations and facilitate the transition from Tier 2 to Tier 1 relationships.
• Collaborate with leadership to diversify business lines and explore new opportunities.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in healthcare staffing with a strong background in VMS operations.
• Leadership skills to coach and develop a diverse team of recruiters.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to drive revenue growth and expand market presence.
• Hands-on approach with a vision for growth and innovation.
• Familiarity with healthcare recruitment, particularly in travel nursing, is highly desirable.

Required Skills

• 6 years of experience in the staffing industry, preferably in healthcare.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and expanding client relationships.
• Experience with VMS operations and healthcare recruitment strategies.
