Job Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Hospice Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide end-of-life care and support to patients and their families during a challenging time.

Responsibilities:

- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Monitor patient's condition and report changes to the healthcare team
- Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families
- Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals
- Educate patients and families on end-of-life care options

Requirements:

- Current RN license
- Experience in hospice or palliative care is preferred
- Knowledge of suture techniques
- Understanding of anatomy and physiology
- Ability to lift and move patients when necessary
- Familiarity with ostomy care and botulinum toxin treatment
- Basic life support certification
- Experience in dementia care is a plus
- Previous work in internal medicine or at a teaching hospital would be beneficial
