Job Title: Specialty Development Consultant/Expert – SAP PP Consultant – W2 Position (316325)Location: Dearborn, MI – HybridDuration: 12 MonthsClient: Ford MotorsPosition DescriptionFord Motor Company is undertaking an effort to deploy SAP Production Planning (PP) and Inventory Management (IM) functionality to support Supply Chain and Manufacturing production operations. This job request is for SAP Functional Consultant role with expertise in S4Hana Implementation for SAP module Production Planning (PP). This is a hybrid position, and the SAP Functional Consultant PP will collaborate with colleagues and teams in our Dearborn, MI office.
Experience Required
Education RequiredBachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in computer science, engineering, or related disciplines
Education PreferredRelevant SAP Certification

Hybrid Position
- Understand the current business process across all regions / plants.
- Understand the functionality of current Legacy Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and associated upstream and downstream systems.
- Work with various stakeholders to study the transformation of current process / legacy systems to Industry best standards/ technology/ systems focusing on the SAP PP module.
- Preform Requirements Gathering, Business Analysis, and Fit-Gap/ Fit-to-Standard Analysis to understand the as-is/to-be states and identify key functionalities /process gaps.
- Recommend possible technology / process solutions to address gaps.
- Support user acceptant testing, cutover activities, data migration, and Post Go-Live support.
- Develop SAP S/4Hana PP across various sites globally and integrate with both legacy & other best-in-breed applications.
- Coach / Train the team on SAP PP functions in the end-to-end business processes.
- Provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with Ford’s internal SAP Platform team
- Stay current on SAP trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
Experience Required
- Experience in deployment of SAP PP module in both Greenfield/ Brownfield sites.
- Experience in SAP PP module configuration (Discrete/ Repetitive).
- Experience in working in S/4Hana environment.
- Experience in integrating with SIEMENS PLM / other PLM Solutions /KINAXIS tools /MES Systems, etc.
Education RequiredBachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in computer science, engineering, or related disciplines
Education PreferredRelevant SAP Certification
