We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Construction Project Superintendent to join our team at Megen Construction Company, Inc. This position will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Job Expectations
Megen Construction Company was founded in 1993 by Evans Nwankwo. After coming from Nigeria to attend Texas A&M University, Evans had 12 successful years with one of the largest construction firms in the country, but he dreamed of owning his own business. He struck out on his own in 1993, starting Megen Construction Company in the basement of his home. From that start, and his first $350,000 project, Megen Construction has grown to over 50 construction professionals working out of offices located in Cincinnati, Ohio, Columbus, Ohio, Nashville, Tennessee, Rocky Mountain Region and South Florida Regionand managing construction projects valued at over $65 Million. Today Megen Construction Company is respected for its commitment to quality, integrity, diversity and teamwork. Job Expectations
- Manage and supervise all on-site construction activities
- Coordinate with subcontractors, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations
- Develop and maintain project schedules
- Prepare and manage punch out lists, change orders, and scope development
- Review and interpret blueprints and specifications
- Generate reports and documentation as needed
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction
