Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Hotel Project Coordinator with a focus on procurement to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the sourcing, purchasing, and delivery of materials, furnishings, and equipment required for hotel development and renovation projects. This role involves close collaboration with vendors, contractors, and project managers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate procurement processes for hotel construction, renovation, and interior design projects.
- Source and evaluate suppliers for materials, furnishings, and equipment.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with vendors.
- Track procurement timelines and ensure timely delivery to avoid project delays.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, budgets, and contracts.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and company policies.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and contractors to align procurement with project requirements.
Qualifications:
- Experience in procurement, project coordination, or related roles in the hospitality or construction industry.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency with procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of hospitality design and construction materials is a plus.
