As a Solar Sales Analyst Intern at Melink Solar, you will play a crucial role in supporting our sales and business development efforts by utilizing cutting-edge software tools to analyze solar markets across the United States. You will be responsible for evaluating potential customers and conducting market research to generate high-quality leads for our sales team
- Utilize advanced software tools and databases to analyze and evaluate solar markets across regions in the US
- Conduct thorough research on industry trends, regulatory policies, and competitive landscape to identify market opportunities
- Assist in developing market segmentation strategies based on demographic, economic, and environmental factors
- Generate detailed reports and presentations summarizing market analysis findings for internal stakeholders
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop targeted lead generation campaigns
- Support the identification and qualification of potential customers through data-driven analysis
- Contribute to the development and optimization of sales processes and strategies
- Participate in customer meetings to help educate them on the chosen design
- Any other job duties as assigned
- Must be pursuing a business, computer science or engineering related degree
- Experienced in data analytics and data mining.
- Must understand solar photovoltaic technology
- Must be passionate about the renewable energy business, hardworking, independent, and thrive in fast-paced environment.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public
- Proven problem-solving record desired
- Able to demonstrate a high level of integrity, and a penchant for high quality
- Must possess a strong work ethic and a high level of self-accountability
- Excellent organizational skills: proficient with MS Excel spreadsheets and data management
