Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Litigation Attorney to join our growing legal team. As a Litigation Attorney, you will be responsible for representing clients in family law cases and providing legal advice and guidance throughout the litigation process.

Duties:

- Conduct legal research and analysis to prepare cases for trial

- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery

- Represent clients in court hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings

- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients

- Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to gather necessary information for cases

- Stay up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations that may impact ongoing cases

- Maintain accurate and detailed case files

Qualifications:

- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

- Admitted to practice law in Virginia

- Proven experience as a Litigation Attorney, preferably with a focus on family law

- Strong knowledge of legal principles and procedures related to litigation

- Excellent legal research and writing skills

- Proficiency in using legal research tools such as Lexis-Nexis

- Ability to negotiate effectively and advocate for clients' interests

- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Pay: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
