Davis Travel Center in Stony Creek, Virginia is looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper who is accountable and accurate. This will be a Full-time position with full benefit package including insurance, 401K with match, and paid time off. Responsibilities:

• Responsible for accurately performing the store's bookkeeping functions including but not necessarily limited to: maintaining store bookkeeping reports, daily banking procedures including ordering cash and change, maintaining and reconciling store's safe balance, and daily monitoring of all sales receipts including preparation and verification of bank deposits.
• Works closely with front end cashiers and leadership to ensure an excellent customer experience.
• All other tasks as assigned

Skills:

• Will accurately perform the store's bookkeeping functions including but not necessarily limited to: maintaining store bookkeeping reports, daily banking procedures including ordering cash and change, maintaining and reconciling store's safe balance, and daily monitoring of all sales receipts including preparation and verification of bank deposits.
• Works closely with front end cashiers and leadership to ensure an excellent customer experience.
• Data entry and proficiency in MS Office

Requirements:

• Open availability and willing to work weekends and holidays
• Retail experience required with C-Store a plus
• Cash handling experience required
