Member Business Financial Services, L.L.P. (MBFS), a credit union-owned company, is looking for a Data Analyst! This position will be responsible for organizing data related to production numbers, market research, logistics, industry, and other behaviors with the goal of assisting team members, external clients, and leadership in making sound decisions. Analyze a variety of data including but not limited to corporate financial data, loan portfolio data, score card analyses for credit unions, etc., and prepare reports for presentation to Board Members and C-level executives.

Responsibilities Include:

• Support company management in fully analyzing and utilizing available data extracted from primary and secondary sources.
• Manage and develop the reporting process for MBFS systems in consultation/collaboration with third-party support providers, credit union clients, and MBFS staff members.
• Maintain existing databases and data systems, reorganizing data into a readable format.
• Utilize statistical tools to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets.
• Analyze local, national, and global trends that impact both the organization and the industry.
• Utilize various platforms and resources to gather data and prepare reports for presentation to Board Members and senior management.
• Responsible for analyzing and reporting database performance, testing and troubleshooting database issues, and collaborating with other members of the development team to create and execute new features, in addition to writing SQL queries.
• Collaborate with programmers, engineers, and management to identify data process improvement opportunities.
• Assist with maintaining compliance with the MBFS Information Security Policy and Program.

Requirements:

• Three to five years of relevant experience demonstrating the ability to collect, clean, and interpret data, preferably within the financial services industry, particularly banking, investments, or insurance.
• Equivalent to a college degree (BS or BA in relevant field).
• Knowledge of credit union products and services a plus.
• Working knowledge of Laser Pro, PCFS Solutions/Loan Manager, and/or nCino (Salesforce) platforms.
• Strong knowledge of and experience with database reporting packages, particularly SQL.
• Advanced level knowledge of personal computer systems including Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel, data visualization tool, and Power BI.
• Proven ability to turn data into information, information into insight, and insight into business decisions.
